Shalaa was Champion 2YO in both Great Britain and France. He travelled to France to win the Deauville Prix Morny (Gr. 1) and a month later, travelled back to Newmarket to win The Middle Park S. (Gr. 1). He was naturally an on-speed horse, prompting Champion Jockey Frankie Dettori to declare, “He is the fastest 2YO I have ever ridden.”. At stud he is already up to 18 stakes-winners, 6 of those being black-type winners at two. The ideal Vobis Gold and Vobis Platinum stallion.
