A winner of the G3 Gosford Belle Of The Turf Stakes last time in, the Chris Waller-trained Sexy Eyes, a daughter of Written Tycoon, resumed on Saturday and was far too classy in the Listed Toowoomba Weetwood Handicap.

Set to sell at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, the mare is just another prime example of the opportunities to tap into the blood of Woodside Park Stud’s Champion stallion. This week, there will also be plenty of opportunities to secure a yearling by him, 17 opportunities in fact!

With 17 lots catalogued to sell over the two days of the Inglis Australia Easter Yearling Sale, it is extremely satisfying to see that 11 different vendors will offer the progeny of the Champion 2YO Sire

One of the first to sell on the opening day of the sale will be Lot 52 from the draft of Turangga Farm, a filly out of the Viscount mare Impeach, who is herself a half-sister to the dam of this season’s G1 Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi, a gallant third last Saturday in the G1 Sires’ Produce Stakes when stepped up to 1400m.

Willow Park Stud will offer two fillies by Written Tycoon, the first to sell is Lot 118, the second foal of the speedy dual stakes winner Minaj, while Lot 195 is a daughter of the winning Fastnet Rock mare Princess Layla from the family of stakes winners Hi World, Loveyamadly and Ducimus.

Milburn Creek offer a pair of colts and a filly with the first through the ring being Lot 120, the daughter of Miss Chard from the family of Sepoy, Camarena, Guelph, Camarilla and Canny Lad, while the first of their colts is Lot 193, a flashy son of the Magnus mare Prettyhappyaboutit from the family of Champion 3YO Female Sprinter Warrior Queen and her G2-winning sire son A.P. Warior.

The final of Milburn Creek’s trio is the highly regarded Lot 329, the third foal of the Listed-winning Hussonet mare Walk With Attitude, whose current two-year-old Spend, a $1.55 million Easter yearling is unbeaten in two barrier trials to date.

Another farm with multiple representation is South Australia’s Mill Park Stud who have a pair of stunning, well-related colts. The first to sell is Lot 308, out of the Redoute’s Choice mare The Good Wife, whose first foal is the stakes placed It’s A Myth from the family of four-time G1 winner Divine Madonna.

A handful of lots later they sell the colt out of the General Nediym mare Victory Cry as Lot 326. Already the dam of the Listed winner Guard Of Honour, the current 3yo of the mare is Run Fox Run, an unbeaten daughter of fellow Woodside Park Stud stallion Foxwedge who races in South Africa and looks destined for black type.

Newgate Farm consign Lot 428, a colt out of the G1 Australian Oaks-winning Zabeel mare Dizelle. With six winners from seven to the races highlighted by the G1 VRC Oaks winner Pinot and the Listed winner Dizlago, the very-well related colt has a pedigree that all potential stud masters would want to get their hands on as a stallion prospect.

The Kelly’s Newhaven Park will offer a chestnut colt out of a Reset half-sister to G1 NZ One Thousand Guineas winner Risque, while Sledmere Stud have a well-related filly to sell as Lot 224, from the family of G1 winners River Dove, her G2-winning son Headwater, with a recent update to the family being the G1 New Zealand Derby winner Prosecutor, himself a graduate of Woodside Park Stud’s Inglis Premier draft.

Glastonbury Farms present Lot 278, a filly from a full-sister to triple G1 winner Sunlight, Glenlogan Park’s filly (Lot 328) is out of the stakes-placed Commands mare Wabell, a half-sister to the Champion Singapore Miler Super Ninetyseven, while Kitchwin Hill’s colt (Lot 21), is out of a half-sister to Listed winner Cornell, from the family of multiple stakes winner Intense Romance.

Rosemont Stud’s Lot 292 is a chestnut colt out of the Sunday Silence mare Sunday Service, whose progeny to date include Hong Kong G1 performer Winner’s Way, Listed-winning sprinter That’s A Good Idea as well as the Listed winning mare Kneeling from the family of dual G1 winner Ace High.

The Mitchell’s Yarraman Park Stud will offer the first foal of the Magic Albert mare Title Holder as Lot 312, with the mare being a half-sister to the Singapore stakes winner King Louis from the family of G1 winners Keeper and Metal Bender.

All in all, there is something for everyone on offer at the 2019 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, and we would like to wish all vendors selling the progeny of the Woodside Park Stud’s stallions the best of luck, and we look forward to following their progress on racetracks for years to come.
