Woodside Racing Club horses available for syndication
Last month champion rugby league footballer Billy Slater launched the Woodside Racing Club, a unique thoroughbred syndication club providing members a fun, affordable and inclusive racehorse ownership experience.
For an annual Woodside Racing Club membership fee of $399 per year, enjoy a fun and social event calendar, regular communications and access to Woodside Park Stud’s world class facilities.
The club offers members 5% units in racehorse syndicates of quality horses, all of which have been bred and/or pre-trained at Woodside Park Stud.
Experience all the privileges of racehorse ownership at a fraction of the cost. For an additional $8.80 per day (or $9.90 including your club membership fee) members can become a 5%-unit holder in a Woodside Racing Club racehorse syndicate.
We are excited to be able to officially offer 5% shares in the following two-year-olds
Street Cry – Drivel filly: Sharing the same sire as Australia's highest rated horse, WINX, this Street Cry filly is a strong 2yo type with great scope for improvement into her 3yo career. Her dam is a quality, city winning Redoute's Choice mare. She will be trained by Caulfield Cup winning trainer Ciaron Maher.
Sepoy – Ryzhkina filly: This magnificent Sepoy filly is out of one of the best mares at Woodside Park Stud, Ryzhkina. Her half-sister made $425,000 at the Melbourne Premier Yearling sale. She will be trained by 2016 Emirates Stakes winning trainer Troy Corstens.
Written Tycoon - Jive Lady filly: This filly is by the reigning champion 2yo sire Written Tycoon and that is exactly what this filly is telling us, she wants to run and win as a 2yo. Her dam, Jive Lady has had two foals for two winners. She will be trained by dual Group 1 winning trainer Henry Dwyer.
Written Tycoon – Marwina Lass gelding: This handsome gelding is very typical of the quality horses Written Tycoon produces, like Capitalist, Rich Enuff and Winning Rupert. His dam, Marwina Lass was a seven-time winner in Melbourne. He will be trained by dual Group 1 winning trainer Henry Dwyer.
Starspangledbanner – Sassy Minx gelding: This impressive gelding is by world champion sprinter Starspangledbanner, who has enjoyed unprecedented success from a limited number of runners to date. His dam is the well-bred, imported American mare Sassy Minx. He will be trained by up and coming trainer Matt Cumani at Ballarat’s newest stables.
Lope De Vega – Street Value gelding: This charismatic gelding by boom European sire Lope De Vega has the attributes to be highly competitive as a 2yo but will thrive as he gets out to the classic distances as a 3yo. He is out of a Stakes winning Street Cry mare. He will be trained at Flemington by up and coming trainer Levi Kavanagh.
All the horses are going really well in their training stable and look forward to cheering them on trackside in the near future.
Members can follow the entire racing club team, along with the horses they have shares in, with ongoing written and face to face communication, regular social events, trackwork mornings and owner’s days at the races.
